Our network is built differently. Over nearly two decades, the Right Choice team has visited hospitals and met surgeons across Turkey, Hungary, Pakistan, Tunisia, and other destinations - as well as maintaining relationships with UK consultants.
What we look for on site
An audit is more than a tour of a reception area. We review operating theatre standards, infection control, nursing ratios, emergency protocols, and how patients are cared for before and after surgery.
- Hospital accreditation and regulatory compliance in the host country.
- Surgeon qualifications, specialist registration, and continuing professional development.
- Volume and outcomes for the specific procedures we refer.
- Transparency of pricing, inclusions, and revision policies.
- Quality of patient communication and informed consent processes.
Surgeons, not just clinics
A good hospital with the wrong surgeon still produces a poor outcome. We assess individual consultants - their training, case mix, complication rates where available, and how they manage expectations with patients.
Surgeons remain in our network only while they meet the standard we would expect for our own families. That bar does not lower because a destination is popular or prices are competitive.
Why profiles show real people
Our surgeon pages use verified photographs and documented specialisms - not anonymous stock images. You should know who is proposing to operate on you before you book flights or pay a deposit.
We also collect and share genuine patient feedback where patients consent. Transparency builds trust, and trust keeps patients safe.
Ongoing review
Verification is not a one-off checkbox. We monitor feedback, revisit clinics, and remove partners who no longer meet our expectations. The network you see today reflects current standards - not a list assembled years ago and never checked again.
